As most probably have heard, an FBI analyst named Leandro Aragoncillo was arrested for espionage last month. If the media is to be believed (and that's a big IF these days), he began spying before seeking employment with the FBI. If so, how did this guy pass the poly? Did he have "help" from the likes of a George Maschke or Doug Williams? If so, then, hypothetically speaking, what legal consequences might anynoe who helped him circumvent our national security procedures face?

Polyops,

probably none, under the principles of free speech. If Aragoncillo used CM's learned from George, then it was his choice to use them.

The Anarchists Cookbook series instructs how to make a lot of things improper and/or illegal; but it would be our individual choice to actually use them, not the author's.

The solution rests in reducing some of the very enlarged ego's out here (at all levels)and learning exactly what the bad guys are doing in their effort to beat us and not being afraid to say that to our peers. I know several examiners out there using analogs without motion sensors and face the examinee's away from them during testing and wouldn't see physical CM or a tongue bite, even if the examinee stuck it out...

Professional and continuing education is the key.
